Vicie Lee Carter age 92 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. Vicie was born on March 01, 1922 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Johnny Harrison Anderson and Sally White Claywell Anderson.  She was a member of the Burkesville Church of the Nazarene, and a farmer.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Carter on March 06, 2013, three brothers, Roy Anderson, Johnny Anderson, and Willard Anderson, and four sisters, Clara Claywell, Lois Smith, Mary Claywell, and Thelma Faye Anderson. Survivors Include: Two Sisters- Betty Carter and her husband Lonnie, and Helen Norris and her husband Hyland all of Burkesville, KY One Brother- William Anderson and his wife Mary Lee of Burkesville, KY Sister-in-law: JoAnn Anderson of Shepherdsville, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Burial in Burkesville Cemetery Family requests visitation on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
