Virgil Spears, age 70 of Burkesville, KY, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. Virgil was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on April 15, 1941 to the late Inis Huddleston Spears, and the late Charlie Spears. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Riley; and brother, Vernon Spears.

Survivors Include: 2 Brothers, Etchel Spears and Henry Spears both of Burkesville, KY; 1 Sister, Hazel Moore of Burkesville, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends survive. Funeral services on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, KY. Burial in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville.
