Wanda Thomas, age 80 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Wanda was born in Albany, Kentucky on June 8, 1931, to the late Ethel Talbott Griffin, and the late Leo Griffin. She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Ella Talbott; Mary Guthrie; Stella Ferguson; Vonda Griffin.

Survivors Include: Her Husband- Billy Thomas of Burkesville, KY 1 Daughter, Lisa Thomas of Burkesville, KY; 3 Nephews, Gary Ferguson, Gordon Ferguson, Wayne Talbott 2 Nieces, Patricia Guthrie, Sharon Stoess and a host of other relatives and friends survive. Funeral services on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Living Word Assembly of God, 1515 Albany Road, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Dana Coverstone and Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial in the Burkesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville.
