Wendell Gale Scott, age 63 of  Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his residence. Wendell was born on December 28, 1953 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Kermit Helden Scott and Mildred Louise Rose Scott.  He was a former truck driver for Manning Motor Express and in later years worked in masonry.

Survivors Include: His Wife- Kathy Willis Scott of Burkesville, KY Three Children- Craig Scott and his wife Rebecca, Tessa Castillo and her husband Chris, and Alonna Cyphers and her husband Randall all of Burkesville, KY Three Sisters- Connie Adams and her husband Heyward, Judy Craft and her husband Ricky, and Janet Grubb and her friend Denton Walker all of Burkesville, KY 10 Grandchildren- Cameron Scott, Jordan Scott, Jarrett Johnson and his wife Brianna, Vanessa Finley and her husband Caleb, Erika Johnson, Raelin Castillo, Noah Castillo, Harley Cyphers, Aubrey Cyphers,  and Garrett Cyphers 1 Great Grandchild- Avery Finley Special cousins- Darrell Rose and Larry York and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive

Funeral Service: Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with burial in the Scott Family Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Thursday, June 13, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
