Arnold Paul Spears

Arnold Paul Spears age 83 of Avon, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 08, 2018 at his home. Arnold was born on November 03, 1934 in the Peytonsburg community of Cumberland County, KY to the late Clury and Letha Wells Spears.  He was a retired fork lift operator for Carrier Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana with forty-three years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Gail Williams, five sisters, Ocie Keen, Lucille Capps, Lena Gray, Myrtle Rowe, and Inis Severe, one brother Kenneth Spears, and his companion Marilyn Baker.

Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Charolett Whitson of Indianapolis, IN
Three Sisters- Ella Severe of Burkesville, KY, Selma Engle of Indianapolis, IN,
and Lyda Jones of Celina, TN
Two Brothers- Franklin Spears and Billy Spears both of Burkesville, KY
Three Grandchildren- Melinda Williams, Matthew Williams, and Patrick Williams all of Indianapolis, IN
4 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Scott Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
