Barbara Ann (Young) Scott

Barbara Young Scott, age 74 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on  Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cumberland County Hospital. Barbara was born on December 13, 1943 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Paul and Roxie Goodhue Young.  She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Cumberland County Hospital for 35 years, and a member of Burkesville First Christian Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her uncle and aunt who raised her, Horace and Willie Mae Norris, one brother, Lee Young, and two sisters, Ruby Canon, and Nina Anderson.

Survivors Include:
One Son- Chris Scott(and Tayra Thrasher) of Burkesville, KY
One Brother- Johnny Young of Glasgow, KY
One Sister- Stella Richards of Cave City, KY
Special Friend- David Hayden of Burkesville, KY
and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends

Funeral Service:
Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
