Billy Thomas

Billy Thomas age 84 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Cumberland County Hospital.  Billy was born on May 15, 1932 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Rev. J.A. Thomas and Myrtle Lee Thomas.  He retired from Houchens Industries with over 30 years of service, and later retired from Newcomb Oil Company.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Griffin Thomas, and his siblings, Walter Thomas, Basil Thomas, and Susie Philpott.

Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Lisa Thomas of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Norma Lee Schulz of Houston, TX
Nieces and Nephews- Ava Appleby, Jackie Price, Sharon Philpott Pinner, Teresa Fontana, Nancy Murphy, Evelyn Orton, Hope Schulz, Nancy Schulz Dowdle, Billy Schulz, Emery Thomas, Steve Schulz, Emma June Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral Service:
Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Friday, March 24, 2017 from
3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
