Buford Lawrence Taylor

Buford Lawrence Taylor, age 79 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Buford was born on September 07, 1938 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Wheeler Taylor and Verda Capps Taylor. He was a retired Cumberland County Magistrate and a veteran of the United States Navy.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee Taylor, three brothers, B.F. Taylor, Malcolm Taylor, and Clifton Taylor, three sisters, Ozell Thurman, Inez Eggert, and Virginia Barrow, and his companion Carol Allred.   

Survivors Include:
Two Daughters-  Beth Everley and her husband David of Burkesville, KY and Christa Whitson and her husband Jamie of Portland, TN
One Brother- Carlos Taylor and Linda Morris of Bowling Green, KY
One Sister- Dorsey "Ina" Bell Petro of Indianapolis, IN
Sister-in-law- Sandra Taylor of Bowling Green, KY
Nine Grandchildren- Chasity(and Matt)York, Chelsie Mims, Craig(and Tiffany)Everley, Taylor Whitson, Noah Whitson, Jessica Taylor, Brittany Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Anthony Taylor
13 Great Grandchildren- Kaydence, John, Mason, Malachi, Winston, Christian, Owen, Stella, Brody, Macey, Blake, Riley, Elijah
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Thursday, September 06, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Gaines Hill Cemetery with military honors.  Family requests visitation on Wednesday, September 05, 2018 from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
