Charles Ray Cook, age 73 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Cumberland County Hospital. Charles was born on July 11, 1948 in Letcher County, KY to the late James Cook and Bertha Amburgey Cook.
He was a former employee of Bremner Biscuit Company, Glasgow Foods, and and was a farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Bell Beaty Cook, one brother, Kenneth Cook, two stepsons, Tom Beaty, and David Beaty, and one stepdaughter, Reba Beaty.
Survivors Include:
Two Sisters- Velma Short and Emelene Roach both of Celina, TN
Two Brothers- Winfred Cook of Burkesville, KY and Wesley Cook of Celina, TN
Two Stepsons- Donnie Beaty of Lexington, KY and Johnny Beaty of Nancy, KY
One Stepdaughter- Betty Brantley of Louisville, KY
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service:
Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Mud Camp Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Monday, Oct 18th from 5 P.M. till 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
