Chris Claywell

Joseph Christopher (Chris) Claywell age 36 of Campbellsville, KY formerly of Burkesville passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home. Chris was born on August 27, 1984 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. Chris had spent the past several years providing companionship  to his grandmother. Chris was a disabled U. S. Army veteran.  He served as a Military Police Officer with the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum, New York and he served a year in Mosul, Iraq during the war in 2003-2004.  He was very proud of his service to his country.

One Son- Spencer Steven Claywell of Albany, KY
His Mother- Cynthia Long Finley(Dennis) of Bowling Green, KY
His Very Special Grandmother- Debera (York) Long of Campbellsville, KY
His Very Special Great Aunt- Barbara (York) Anderson of Bowling Green, KY
One Sister- Alanna Brooke Claywell of Bowling Green, KY
One Uncle- Randall Steven Long of Waynesburg, KY
Maternal Grandfather- Randall Ralph Long of Hillsdale, MI
and several cousins whom he loved.

Funeral Service:
Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery with military honors. Family requests visitation on Thursday, August 26th from 11 A.M. until the service time at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
