Douglas Claywell

Douglas Claywell, age 79 of  Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Cumberland County Hospital. Doug was born on July 5, 1944 in Cumberland County to the late  Paul and Rosie Lee Garrett Claywell. Doug was retired from the KY Dept of Transportation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Melton Claywell, brothers Russell Claywell, Roy Claywell, David Claywell, Clifton Claywell and Delmer Claywell, sisters Grace Turner, Univay Scott and Donnie Winchester.

Son - Jeffery Wayne Claywell of Tompkinsville, KY
Daughter - Joyce Rowe (John Martin) of Burkesville, KY
Sisters - Joyce Capps of Glasgow, KY and Robbie Curtis of Jeffersonville, IN
Grandchildren - Valerie Lone, Dylan Cape (Janelle), Curtis Trent, Lyndsey Morgan (John) and Kristen Anderson
Great Grandchildren - Brooklyn Lone, Connor Cape, Breckin Anderson and Baker Anderson
Several nieces and nephews

In accordance with Doug's wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no service.
