Elzie Gene "Bean" Kirk

Elzie Gene Kirk "Bean", age 85 of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Elzie was born on November 11, 1936 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Lawrence Kirk Sr. and Bertha Norris Kirk. He was a longtime employee of the Pace Family and Bank of Marrowbone and was a longtime organizer of the Marrowbone Christmas Parade. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lawrence "Duchie" Kirk, Lonnie "Bodgie" Kirk, Ralph Dixon Kirk, Luster "Luck" Kirkpatrick, Malcolm Kirk, Sr., Sarah Elizabeth Pace.    

Survivors Include:
Two Sons- Craig Kirkpatrick of Marrowbone, KY and Troy Kirkpatrick of Glasgow, KY
One Daughter- Kathy Burbridge of Lexington, KY
One Brother- Phillip "Rabbit" Kirk of Burkesville, KY
Five Grandchildren- Braden Kirkpatrick, Troy Donovan Kirkpatrick, Devin Blake Kirkpatrick, Tristian Burbridge, Tiffany Burbridge
Three Great Grandchildren- Ivy Burbridge, Ava Burbridge, Beyonka Burbridge
along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Davis Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 10 A.M. until service time at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
