Hazel (Long) Jones

Hazel Jones, age 80 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Hazel was born on November 23, 1940 in Cumberland County, KY  to the late Stanley Long and Sylvia Davidson Long. She was a member of Hickory Grove Church of Christ,  was a longtime employee of the Circuit Clerk's office and was Cumberland County Circuit Clerk from 1994 until her retirement in 2009. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Harold "Squack" Jones, two infant sons, and her brother James Long.

Survivors Include:
One Son- Donnie Jones and wife Bernice of Burkesville, KY
Two Sisters- Betty Hogan of Burkesville, KY and Helen Steele of Indiana
One Grandson- Chavis Jones of Troy, Missouri
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service:
Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Perkins Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
