Inell Cooksey

Inell Cooksey, age 91 of  Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Inell was born on December 14, 1934 in Cumberland County,  to the late Kelsey "K.B."  Watson and Lucy King Watson Oliver.  Inell was a member of Burkesville Baptist Church and the Homemaker's Club.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Michael Cooksey and Steve Cooksey and a grandchild, Ross Cooksey. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Cooksey on April 4, 1952.

Her husband - Jimmie Cooksey of Burkesville 
One son - Greg Cooksey (Debra) of Burkesville
One daughter-in-law - Janie Cooksey of Burkesville  
One sister - Etheline Neeley (Joe) of Burkesville 
Seven grandchildren - Julie Ann Carlisle (Taylor), Brandon Cooksey, Nick Cooksey (Paige), Kari Cooksey, Eric Cooksey, Jeremy Cooksey (Tabatha), Josh Cooksey (Kelsi)
Seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren 

Funeral Service:
Friday, May 1, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main St, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. until 9 P.M. and Friday from 6:00 A.M. until time for the service at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
