James Douglas Franklin

James Douglas Franklin, 87 of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on  Friday, August 17, 2018 at Cumberland County Hospital. James was born in Cumberland County, KY on May 27, 1931.  He was a longtime construction worker.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Ewing Franklin, his wife, Hilda Cary Franklin, and one sister, Joyce Hurt.

Survivors Include:
Eight Children- Sandy Hoots of Auburn, KY, Brad Franklin of Marrowbone, KY, Mark Franklin of Newberry, SC,  Joe Franklin of Marrowbone, KY, Cary Franklin of Franklin, IN, Crystal Garmon of Burkesville, KY, John Franklin of Marrowbone, KY, and Sue Parke of Dubre, KY
20 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in the Franklin-Davis Cemetery in Marrowbone.  Family requests visitation on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
