Janet Eileen (Bow) Stone

Janet Eileen Bow Stone, born on July 16th, 1933, daughter of Ella Mae Bow, native of Burkesville, Kentucky passed peacefully on July 9th, 2021. She was a former employee of International Harvester and worked seasonally at Churchill Downs.

Janet was a hard working, independent woman dedicated to her family and had many friends. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, horse racing and loved playing cards. She is survived by her two sons, Troy B. Stone and Steven A. Stone (Crystal), two grandchildren Steven Stone (Jessie) and Amber Stone, and two great grandchildren Gage Stone and Willow Stone. She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched along the way. 

Funeral Service:
Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Perkins Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Wednesday, July 14th from 10 A.M. until the service time at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
