Jimmie Perry, age 86 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at his home. Jimmie was born on September 13, 1938 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Ted Perry and Mary Cloyd Perry. He was a longtime mechanic and former owner of T & J Body Shop and in later years did small engine repair. He was a member of Burkesville First Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Fletcher Perry and one brother Don Perry.
Survivors Include:
One Son- Parker Perry(Kristy) of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Sharon Sturgeon(Jimmy) of Jacksonville, FL
Six Grandchildren- Logan Perry(Heather), Makenzie Perry Irwin(Kurtis), Kendel Perry Ennis(Derek), Byren Crawley, Bentley Crawley, and Haley Burchett
Five Great Grandchildren- Dolly Perry, Mia Irwin, Marley Irwin, Melanie Irwin, Audrina Burchett
and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral Service:
Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Gibson Cemetery on the Perry Farm in Cumberland County. Family requests visitation on Monday, June 23rd from 4 P.M. till 9 P.M. and Tuesday morning from 6 A.M. until time for the service at 10 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
