Joanna Rokosz

Joanna Rokosz, age 90 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at her home. Joanna was born on January 01, 1936 in Drazdzewo, Poland to the late Frank Sielski and Jadwiga Klimaszewska Sielski.  She was a former school teacher and principal, a member of the Roman Catholic Church and had served as a guide for Mountain Rescue Group in Poland. 

Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Agata Sprague and her husband Mark of Burkesville, KY
One Son- Bartlomiej Rokosz of Strandhill, Ireland
One Sister- Irena Rusinska
Four Grandchildren- Marcus Sprague, Weronika Rokosz, Adam Sprague, and Jan Rokosz
and a host of other relatives and friends

Cremation has been chosen and a service and burial will take place later in Poland.
