Joey Burchett

Joey Burchett, age 67 of  Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Medical Center of Albany. Joey was born on April 23, 1959 in Cumberland County , KY to Anneda Burns Warden and the late Frank Burchett . He was a member of Seminary United Methodist Church and former employee of Strange Bait Shop and an oil well driller.

His wife - Vickie Gaye Burchett of Burkesville, KY
His mother - Anneda Burns Warden of Burkesville, KY 
Five Children - Jeremy Burchett and Jennifer (Wesley) Brown of Burkesville and Josh (Martina) Burchett, Justin (Brittney) Burchett and Julie (Ryan) Weber, all of Albany 
Seventeen Grandchildren - Lance (Rachel) Burchett, Landon Burchett, Paige Burchett,  Madalyn Burchett, Hayley (Daniel) Thomas, Jesley Brown, Canaan Brown, Taylor Burchett, Montana (Levi) Duvall, Nathan Doughty, Joslyn Burchett, Hunter Burchett, Willow Burchett, Wyatt Burchett, Fisher Burchett, Channing Weber and Alexis Weber
Five Great-Grandchildren - Addie Brumley, Remi Brumley, Claire Sexton, Brynnlee Thomas and Tobias Courtney
Two Brothers - Jimmy (Susan) Burchett of Georgia, and Jason Burchett of Paintsville, KY
One sister - Jani (Glenn) Murphy of Burkesville

Funeral Service:
Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main St, Burkesville, KY, with burial in Burchett Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M.
