John C. Bray

John C. Bray age 98 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital.  John was born in Lafayette, Macon County, TN on March 21, 1921 to the late John Denton Bray and Rosie Effie Doss Bray.  He was a former dairy farmer and employee of R.N. Thompson Construction Co.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Jean Bray and his second wife Leona Bray, six brothers, James Abe Bray, Carlos Ray Bray, Roy Edward Bray, Jessie Smith Bray, Silas Hilbert Bray, and Aubrey G. Bray, and one sister, Beatrice Hughes.

Survivors Include:
One Daughter- Linda Lou Knight of Burkesville, KY
Three Sons- Harold G. Bray of Burkesville, KY, Ralph Leon Bray of Morgantown, Indiana and James Lewis Bray of Martinsville, IN
6 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service:
Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until the service time at 12 Noon at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
