Joyce (Melton) Tanner

Joyce Melton Tanner, age 89 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Hildegard on Story. Joyce was born on June 11, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Roy Peyton Melton and Lizzie Anderson Melton. She was a former employee of K-Mart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two children Kenneth Dean Irvin and Betty Lois Irvin, four brothers Elmer Melton, Roy Melton, Irvin Melton, and Kenneth Melton and two sisters Lois Melton and Hazel Groce.

Survivors Include:
One Son- Gary Irvin(Sheila Miller) of Louisville, KY
Special Nieces- Kathy Branham and Phyllis Hurt both of Burkesville, KY
Three Grandchildren- Billie Jean Holcomb, Kristen Minton, and Jason Irvin
Several Great Grandchildren and special friends Linda, Angie, and Rhonda

Private services will be held with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.
