Kenneth Brewington

Kenneth Brewington, age 86 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Kenneth was born on July 03, 1930 in Burkesville, KY to the late Marvin and Nannie Clyde Spears Brewington. He was a former employee of T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Cumberland County Hospital, and was Cumberland County Sheriff from 1982 until 1986. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edith Bolton Brewington, one son, Danny Brewington, and seven siblings, Paul Brewington, Jewell Smith, Lyle Simpson "Simp" Brewington, Keith Brewington, Robert Brewington, Billy Brewington, and Reid Brewington.

Survivors Include:
Two Sisters- Pearl Janes and her husband Noah of Hodgenville, KY and Gertie Collins of Burkesville, KY
One Brother- Charles Fred Brewington of Indianapolis, IN
Two Grandchildren- Krystal Brewington Howard of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Megan Brewington Cantrell of Frenchburg, KY
One Great Grandchild- Elijah Radie Kenneth Howard of Mt. Sterling, KY
Special Friends- Watson Groce , Jessica Wright, Britt Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Friday, June 02, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with burial in Murley Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Thursday, June 01, 2017 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
