Lester Long

Lester Long, age 75 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. Lester was born on October 20, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lester Herbert Long and Anna Mae Logan Long. He was a member of Red Banks United Methodist Church, a former Cumberland County Magistrate, and was a retired employee of Cumberland County Hospital having worked 48 1/2 years.

His Wife- Linda Long of Burkesville, KY

One Son- Keith Long and wife Angie of Burkesville, KY

One Daughter- Melissa Hammer of Cheyenne, WY

Four Grandchildren- Holly Long Parrigin and husband Bart, Cody McGuffey, Brooke Hammer and husband Ian Spaulding, and Carla Hammer

Three Great Grandchildren- Noah Hammer, Sophia Hudson, and Dominic Spaulding

and a host of other relatives and friends

A public visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
