Linda Walker Pitcock, age 79 of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at her home. Linda was born on September 22, 1946 in Cumberland County, KY to the late William Cass Walker and Ethel Gearlds Walker. She was a member of Marrowbone Methodist Church, a former teacher's aide for the Indianapolis Public School System, a former member of the Homemakers Club and was instrumental in helping with the Marrowbone Methodist Church Food Ministry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Chester "Chet" Pitcock, one son Michael Pitcock, one great grandchild Walker Bramlett, two brothers Truman Walker and Paul "Shorty" Walker, four sisters Vola Honeycut, Eunice Walker, Margie Muse, and Helen Carter.
Survivors Include:
Three Daughters- Carla(and Rollie)Bramlett of Indianapolis, IN, Carol Guffey (Jeff Kash) of Albany, KY and Cathy(and Jimmie)Knox of Martinsville, IN
One Brother- Jimmy(and Gail)Walker of Shepherdsville, KY
8 Grandchildren- David, Ryan(and Stephanie), Jake(and Taylor), Jessica(and James), Zachary, Jared(and Kayla), Ethan(and Kyla), Caleb
11 Great Grandchildren- Gracie, Kampbell, Rhys, Dalton, Vaeda, Hollanne, Chet, Keegan, Harrison, Gage, Oakley, and two expectant great grandchildren
Brother-in-law- Delmos Carter of Bowling Green, KY
along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
Funeral Service:
Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Marrowbone Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, June 5th from 3 P.M. till 9 P.M. and on Saturday from 6 A.M. until time for the service at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
