Lois Burns, age 86 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Lois was born on August 21, 1933 in Burkesville, KY to the late Edwin Clyde Crawley and Vinnie Anderson Crawley. She was a member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Doyle Edwin Burns, one daughter, Roberta Ann Burns, two brothers, Lowell Crawley and Allison Crawley, and one sister, Anna Lou Dicken
Survivors Include:
Her Husband- Robert Burns of Burkesville, KY
One Daughter- Marla Burns(Junior Vincent) of Burkesville, KY
Four Sons- Hoyt Burns(Judy) of Cynthiana, KY, Michael Burns(Bonnie) of Jackson, Michigan, Dwight Burns(Jana) of Burkesville, KY, and Phillip Burns(Millie Foster) of Columbia, KY
9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 expectant Great Grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service:
Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with burial in Vincent Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Vincent Cemetery Fund, c/o Marla Burns 390 Sexton Fork Rd., Burkesville, KY 42717 or may be left at the funeral home.
