Lyle Spears

Lyle Spears, age 75 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Lyle was born on December 02, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Justice Spears and Lela Pruitt Spears.  He was a member of Branham Grove Missionary Baptist Church and longtime self employed mechanic.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Justice Ferrill, five sisters, Lisa Faye Spears, Anna Joyce Spears, Ruby Loyce Spears, Barbara Pearl Guffey, Dorothy Avo Scott, and one brother, Larry Spears.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Judy Spears of Burkesville, KY
Two Daughters- Jill(and Legion) Ferrill of Bowling Green, KY and Paula Graham of Burkesville, KY
Three Stepchildren- Tony Short of Indiana, Theresa Murphy of Bowling Green, KY and Gail Leavitt of Dallas, TX
Five Brothers- Johnny Spears, Curtis Spears, Danny Reed Spears, Joe Spears, and Jackie Spears all of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Dyonn Bullis of Roseville, Michigan
Six Grandchildren- Dakota Ferrill, Clay Graham, Shelby Ferrill, Ellie Mae Graham, Jon Eric Cash, Gracie Cash
Four Great Grandchildren- Kali Wheeler, Taliyah Mae Owsley, Charleigh Ferrill, Madie Graham
and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Thursday, June 18th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
