Marie (Savage) Rush

Marie Rush, age 70 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her home. Marie was born on May 14, 1949 in Clinton County, KY to the late Don Hubert Savage and Anna Lee Beaty Savage. She was a longtime employee of Sutton Shirt Corporation, Kentucky Apparel, and Electric Mills KY. She was a follower of Shepherd's Chapel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Rush.

One Son- Johnny Earl Rush and his wife Angie of Burkesville, KY
One Daughter- Angela Akin of Woodburn, KY
Six Brothers- Bob Savage, Earl Dee Savage, and Donnie Savage all of Albany, KY, Ronnie Savage of Burkesville, KY, Gary Savage and James Savage both of Stanford, KY
Six Sisters- Lucille Savage and Connie Blevins both of Albany, KY, Inalene Dishman of Shepherdsville, KY, Margaret Hite of Richmond, KY, Wanda Savage of Moss, TN, and Sherry Dishman of Monticello, KY
Three Grandchildren- Elizabeth Rush, Erin Rush, and John Curtis Rush 
Two Great Grandchildren- John Tyler Watts and Isabella Marie Claire Watts
Special Friend- Margaret King of Burkesville, KY
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Rush Family Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
