Oscar (B.A.) Bishop Anders age 83 of Burkesville, Kentucky(a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor)passed away on Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was born on January 28th 1931 in Zeketown, Kentucky to the late Ray and Fannie Holman Anders. He attended school at Coe Ridge. He was a retired employee of American Can Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Katie Anders, two sisters, Easter Coe, and Elvenois Kirk, and five brothers, Reed Gerald Anders, David Anders, Stanley Anders, Macio Anders, and Baby "Butch" Anders.
Survivors Include:
Two Daughters- Tonya Anders of Fairfield, Ohio and Anita Anders of Euclid, Ohio
One Brother- Judge Anders of Burkesville, KY
Four Sisters- Mary Duncan of Portage, Indiana, Zora Alexander of Lexington, KY, Hazel Anders of Burkesville, KY, and Barbara Jennings of Chicago, Illinois.
Two Grandchildren- Timothy Settles, Jr., and Oscar "June Bug" Flowers Jr.
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Service:
Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY with Bishop Jose' Anders officiating. Burial in Coe Ridge Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
