Phillip Capps

Phillip Earl Capps, age 72 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at his home. Phillip was born on April 11, 1954 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Earl Glen Capps and Bebe Sharp Capps. Phillip was a longtime E.M.T. and employee of Cumberland County Hospital. He had attended Liberty Church.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents Lula and A.O. Sharp and Pansy and Jim Capps, one brother Jimmie Capps and a special uncle Vernon Capps.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Madie Capps of Burkesville, KY
One Son- Jonathan Capps and his wife Heather of Burkesville, KY
Two Grandchildren- Callie Capps and Jon Weston Capps of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Diane Bone of Bowling Green, KY
Two Brothers- David Capps of Celina, TN and Mark Capps of Bowling Green, KY
along with a host of other relatives and friends

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 3:00 P.M. until  7:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with a memorial service at 7:00 P.M.
Burial of the cremains will be in the Murley Cemetery at a later date
