Phillip Allen Coomer

Phillip Coomer, age 83 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Phillip was born on June 04, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Andy Thomas Coomer and Emma Lucy (Nixon) Coomer.  He was a retired employee of Ross Gear and Tool Co. in Lafayette, IN after 35 years of service.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Coomer, and two infant siblings.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Shirley Coomer of Burkesville, KY
One Daughter- Tina Godbey of Lafayette, IN
Three Grandchildren- Joshua Godbey, Cory Renfrow, and Jennifer Merritt
Three Great Grandchildren- Ashlynn Renfrow and Jordan Treynor, Hayden Godbey
and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Thursday, August 09, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the service time at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home

The committal service will be on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum in West Lafayette, Indiana
