Raymond Richard Phillips, III

Raymond Richard Phillips lll age 40 passed away on July 17, 2025 at his home. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, partner and friend. He was born in Waldorf, MD to the late Raymond Richard Phillips Jr and Rose May. Ray was a former carpenter and certified welder.

Ray was best known for his lively character and having a natural ability to make those around him laugh through even the toughest of situations. He had a passion for music, writing and loved nothing more than to be close to his loved ones. 

Ray will be immeasurably missed by his mother Rose May of Burkesville, Kentucky, surviving sisters, Heather Phillips and Tanya Peoples of Virginia and Bridgette Phillips of Arizona, his girlfriend Tina Powell of Burkesville and several nieces and nephews. His family takes solace in knowing he is now at peace alongside his father and nephew.

Cremation has been chosen and there will be no local services.
