Rebecca Lou Waid

Rebecca Lou Waid, age 63 of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at her home. Lou was born on May 10, 1960 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY to the late Roy T. Anderson and Golda Wright Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Golda Sue Anderson.

Survivors Include:
One Son- Roy (Brittani) Waid of Edmonton, KY
Two Daughters- Stacy (Shawn) Brown and Angie Waid both of Albany, KY
Two Sisters- Faye Anderson and Denia Anderson both of Albany, KY
Five Brothers- Charlie (Margaret) Anderson, Joe (Mary) Anderson, Todd (Betty) Anderson, Tommy (Lisa Cooper) Anderson, and Danny Anderson all of Albany, KY
Three Grandchildren she raised as her own- Matthew Riddle, Josh Riddle, and Derrick Riddle all of Albany, KY
along with eight additional grandchildren Jonathan Melton, Christopher Waid, Brittany Brown, Travis Waid, Austin Brown, Shailen Waid, Nick Brown, and Nathan Waid
Seven Great Grandchildren- Amber Flowers, Kayden Thrasher, Kenli Thrasher, Jaylee Parrigin, Levi Waid, Joslyn Parrigin, Rook Waid
along with a host of other relatives and friends

Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, KY
Family requests visitation on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 5 P.M. till 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
