Robert "Bob" Newby Sprouls

Robert Newby Sprouls, age 87 of  Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at his home. Robert was born on May 31, 1936 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Sandford and Christine Bowe Sprouls. Robert was a lifelong farmer and store owner/operator of Sprouls Grocery in the Bakerton community of Cumberland County.  He also had a passion for going to stockyards to buy and sell cattle in which he was extremely successful at.  He was a  member of the Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Eileen Sprouls Crockett and a special aunt, Mattie Lee Sprouls.

Survivors Include:
His daughter - Stella Garnell Duvall of Somerset, KY
Three Nieces- Alesa Norris and Elaine Bolton both of Indianapolis, IN and Christie Norris of Atlanta, GA
One Nephew- Eric Crockett of Indianapolis, IN
and  a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Services:
Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main St., Burkesville, KY with burial in Liberty Baptist Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Liberty Baptist Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home
