Runell Grubb

Runell Grubb age 87 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, February 02, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was born on October 05, 1938 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Carlie Josh Watson and Mattie Turner Capps Watson.  She and her late husband Edward Grubb lived many years in Indiana where she worked for RCA and Steak N Shake. While in Indiana Runell and Ed helped to establish Spearsville Road Church of Christ in Morgantown, IN. After moving back to Burkesville after retirement, she attended Seminary Church of Christ and Burkesville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Miron Thomas Watson and Clifton H. "Butch" Watson 

Survivors Include:
Two Daughters-  Mary Wilson of Bloomington, IN and Connie Woods and her husband Dennis Woods of Cornville, AZ
Three Grandsons-  Ben Johnson and his wife Rachel of Bloomington, IN, Elijah Woods and his wife Ashley of Queen Creek, AZ and Seth Woods and his wife Raena of Parks, AZ
Six Great Grandchildren Brody, Alexa, Sawyer, Caleb, Gibson, and Hannah along with a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Thursday, February 05, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5th from 9 A.M. until service time at 10 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5th at 2:30 P.M. at Manchester Memorial Gardens in Manchester, Kentucky
