Russell (Logan) Williams

Mrs. Russell Logan Williams age 103, passed away on February 11, 2018 in Louisville. She was born on December 7, 1914, in Cumberland County, KY to the late Martin and Myrtie (French) Logan. Russell is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Homer Williams; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Marjorie Blake (John), Dixie Pavey (Glen), Peggy Mayfield and Terry Williams (Sally); 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Russell's life will be held at Expressway Avenue Church of Christ, 4437 S 6th St., Louisville, KY on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 9 A.M. central time with burial to follow in the French-Logan Cemetery in  Cumberland County at 2 P.M. Central.  The family will accept guests at Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY on Thursday, February 15 from 1-7 PM. Central Time.  Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements
