Ruth (Pruitt) Willis

Ruth Pruitt Willis, age 83 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her home. Ruth was born on December 02, 1936 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Andy Burr Pruitt and Arlie Short Pruitt. She had worked for 15 years in the cafeteria at Kettle School and operated Willis Barbeque for 35 years.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Willis, eleven siblings, James, Howard, Deli, Will Ed, Laura Mae, Maggie, Opal, Altie, John, Russell "Dick", and Richard "Doc".

Survivors Include:
Two Sons- Stevie Willis and his wife Carla and Anthony Jones and his wife Angela all of Burkesville, KY
One Daughter- Arlene Young and her husband Greg of Burkesville, KY
Six Grandchildren- Victoria Humphrey and her husband Joseph, Tyler Willis and his fiance Jessie Stone, Paige Parrigin and her husband Spencer, Matthew Jones, Peyton Young, and Dawson Jones and his fiance Kasey Vibbert
Two Great Grandchildren- Damian Humphrey and Kadin Humphrey
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service:
Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to WE CARE or the Christian Chapel Cemetery Fund.
