Steve Carter

Steve Carter, age 68 of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Burkesville passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Lyndon Woods Care and Rehabilitation in Louisville. Steve was born on February 28, 1952 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Joe Dillon Carter and Juanita Coats Carter. He was a former employee of Gaddie Shamrock and had served in the U.S. Army National Guard attaining the rank of Sergeant.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings, Doris L. Carter, Veronica Bonnie Martin, Joe F. Carter, Ernest H. Carter, and Bobby M. Carter.       

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Carolyn Michelle Carter of Burkesville, KY
Four Daughters- Brandi Carter Compton of Columbia, TN, Cheynne Bentley of Cookeville, TN, Porcia Carter of Glasgow, KY and Kala Carey of Russell Springs, KY
One Son- Steven Carter of Russell Springs, KY
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends

Cremation has been chosen and there will be no services.
