Susie Ooten

Susie Ooten, age 94, of Harriman, TN passed away May16, 2019 at Diversicare of Oak Ridge.  She was a member of the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Oakdale.  She loved life, going to church and flowers, but most of all she loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry P. Ooten; daughter, Arlee Ooten; grandson, Dwayne Shelton and a set of twins of Anna and the late, David Shelton.

She is survived by her children, Anna Shelton of Oakdale, TN Barbara (Bobby) Briggs of Kingston, TN Jerry Ooten of Oakdale, TN and Reberta (Harold) Spence of Lebanon, TN.; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Eastern Time with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Danny Jenkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Modoc Cemetery at 3:30 EST/ 2:30 Central in Burkesville, KY.
