W. Cecil Hughes

W. Cecil Hughes, age 84 of  Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 14, 1940 in Clay County, TN to the late William Thomas and Nannie Cue Roach Hughes.  Cecil was retired from Armour Packing Company in Louisville where he worked for 34 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Charles Miller Hughes.

Survivors include:
Two sons - Dan Hughes of Crestview, FL, and Robert Cecil Hughes,  of Kissimmee, FL
One daughter - Brenda Sao of Radcliff, KY
One brother - Larry Hughes of Indianapolis, IN
One sister - Brenda Huffaker, of Shepherdville, KY
Twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Scott Cemetery in Cumberland County. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
