Wavel Groce, Sr

Wavel Cleveland Groce, Sr., age 66 of Bon Ayr, Kentucky passed away at home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Wavel was born on June 25, 1956, in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Joe Edward Groce and Annis Robin Marie Hardin Groce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Patty Groce, five brothers Clifton, Lonnie, Barnie, Eanis, Noel Groce, and one sister, Wilma Farlee. Wavel was a caring man, a mechanic that could fix anything, always had a joke ready to go, and would help anyone in any way he could. There will never be another man like him.

Three Sons:  Joseph Cleveland (Victoria) of Columbia, KY; Wavel Allen (Stephanie) of Summer Shade, KY; Daniel Edward of Bowling Green, KY
Twin Daughters: Staci Ann (Russell) of Indiana; Traci Marie (Mitchell) of Iowa
Eight Grandchildren: Dylan Scott, Desiree Ann, Ethan Scott, Niles Warren, Isabella Marie, Daniel Lee, Jacob Edward, Emma Marie
Brothers: Hollis (Judy) of Scottsville, KY; Troy (Linda) of Adolphus, KY
Sisters: Wonzie Strode of Gamaliel, KY; Monnie Arms of Columbia, KY; Eutiva Dodson of Lafayette, TN

Funeral Service:
Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St, Burkesville, KY, burial in the Jarvis Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until time for the service at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
