Mary Kirkpatrick age 84 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. Mary was born on March 18, 1930 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Samuel Owsley and Ruth Hunter Owsley.  She was a member of Big Sandy Holiness Church and a former employee of Alpine Resort, and was a homemaker and a babysitter.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Kirkpatrick.

Survivors Include:
Three Daughters- Betty Kirkpatrick of Burkesville, KY, Cheryl Nelson and her husband Steve of Burkesville, KY, and Silvia Hunn and her husband Anthony of Glasgow, KY
Two Sons- Rickye Kirkpatrick and his wife Mary of Burkesville, KY and Myron Kirkpatrick and his fiancé Angela of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Arvana Alexander of Burkesville, KY
Three Sisters-in-law - Hazel Owsley, Edna Lou Kirk, and Linda Joyce Kirk all of Burkesville, KY
Four Brothers-in-law - Lonnie Kirk and Robert Daniel Kirk both of Burkesville, KY, Elzie Kirk of Marrowbone, KY, and Lawrence Kirk of Glasgow, KY
12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and  a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bishop Jose' Anders officiating. Burial in Grundy Chapel Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.

So very sorry for your loss. Mary is remembered by us and we look back on the time she would come to our house to babysit our children. She was so nice and we appreciated her kindness. Praying for you all.

Mary helped to raise a very good and kind young man. You did well with helping to raise Jermicah Richardson. I know you are proud of him. Bless your heart and rest in peace.
