Roy Sherman Willis age 81 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 04, 2013 at Cumberland County Hospital after an illness. Roy was born on December 20, 1931 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Willie O. and Era Mae Riddle Willis.  He was a longtime farmer, oil driller, and a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Willis, and Phillip "Big Boy" Willis, and four sisters, Betty Roach, Shirley Anderson, Lou Johnson, and Nelda Dean Riley.

Survivors Include:
His Wife- Ruth Pruitt Willis of Burkesville, KY
Two Sons- Stevie Willis and his wife Carla of Burkesvile, KY and Anthony Jones and his wife Angela of Burkesvile, KY
One Daughter- Arlene Young and her husband Greg of Burkesville, KY
Six Grandchildren- Victoria Humphrey and her husband Joseph, Tyler Willis, Paige Young, Matthew Jones, Peyton Young, and Dawson Jones
Two Great Grandchildren- Damian and Kadin Humphrey
Two Brothers- Paul Willis and his wife Bessie and Millard Willis and his wife Deanna all of Burkesville, KY
Six Sisters- Irene Spears of Indianapolis, IN, Hazel Smith of Burkesville, KY, Margie Thompson of Glasgow, KY, Linda Riddle and her husband Clifford of Burkesville, KY, Phyllis Roach and her husband Tony of Burkesville, KY, and Judy Rush and her husband Lyle of Louisville, KY
and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service:
Sunday, October 06, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. Burkesville, KY with Bro. Tom Watson and Millard Willis officiating. Burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery.
Family requests visitation after 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 05, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to WE CARE and may be left at the funeral home.
